Students who are socially skilled tend to do better in school, and just like academic skills, social skills need to be explicitly taught. Students who display at-risk behavior benefit greatly from social skills instruction. The earlier we can start explicitly teaching and modeling pro-social behaviors, the better our students’ outcomes will be. This is why we have designed a Social Skills Toolkit for PK=6th grade– to provide educators with a ready-to-use system designed to empower positive student behavior.

The toolkit not only explicitly teaches each skill, but it can be used for targeted Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions and includes non-verbal cues to help support ELL, ILPs, and special ed.
